The late Adrienne Shelly’s Sundance ’07 romantic comedy “Waitress” starring Keri Russell will open the 9th The Method Fest Independent Film Festival, taking place March 29 – April 5 in Calabasas, CA. Highlights of the festival include the world premieres of Patrick Donnelly’s drama “Divergence,” Ian Gurvitz’s comedy “LA Blues,” and Walt Becker’s comedy, “Schooled.” Slated U.S. debuts are “Bridge 13” (Iran), “El Carnaval de Sodoma” (Mexico) and “Trade Routes” (Bulgaria).
